Bios are the interface between hardware and software. Bios provide basic set of instruction used by the operating system. Bios hardware configuration information is parentally stored in small area of CMOS-Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor. CMOS is power by small battery located in motherboard .CMOS retain setting even if the computer is turned off. Bios reads and executed the first physical sector of chosen boot media on the system.
