so it will increase the rate of I/O performance.
Disadvantage

data are copied into the mirrored disk.
if one disk fail we can get the data from the other disk.
Advantage
it will provide 100% Redundancy,
if disk fails, do not have to rebuilt, just have to copied replacement disk
