PHP is the server side programming. So you can not run php program like html file (save as filename.html and double-click). If you like to run php programming then you must install the apache web server. Then you must set the local host. Then save the php programming where you set in the local host. Follow these stet to run the php programming
1. You install the apache
I recommended you can install wamp server it contains Apache, php mysql
2. After it install it is automatically set there local host. Example if you install in c: drive then it set there local host in C:\wamp\www
3. Then you save your php file in this directory (C:\wamp\www) with .php extension
