Install config Send mail Server Configuration in Red hat Rhel5 sendmail.mc file

Step 1: LInux Unix configuration
install packages in Red hat Linux
#yum install sendmail sendmailcf
sendmaildoc
Step 2:
edit configuration file
#vim /etc/mail/sendmail.mc
Line no:116(disable the line) that is
dnl #DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA’)dnl
Line no:160Sendmail.mc file in red hat Linux rhel5
MASQUERADE_AS(`rhel5.com’)
Line no:164
FEATURE(masquerade_envelope)dnl
Line no:168
FEATURE(masquerade_entire_domain)dnl
#vim /etc/mail/localhostnames
rhel5.com
system4.rhel5.com
system4
Step 3:
restart the sendmail service
#chkconfig sendmail on
#service sendmail restart
Step 4:
send mail to user
#mail v
s
“test” linux@rhel5.com
sample mail
